On May 17th, the National Association of European Trainers from Moldova (ANTEM) launched a new phase of the program “Distance Romanian Learning” through the project Distance Romanian – opportunity of social and professional integration for young people from Moldova, funded by the Ministry of Youth and Sports from Moldova.
The overall objective is to ensure equal opportunities and social – professional integration through distance language training for at least 100 young representatives of ethnic minorities, mainly, youth centres from the North, South and Centre of the country.
The E-learning platform Distance Romanian Learning (invat.antem.org) covers levels A1-A2, B1, B2 and C1 (for certain professional categories) according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and is created based on the teaching materials developed by ANTEM.
This year ANTEM will boost the platform with a new module for level C1 (Romanian for PR specialists) aiming to develop young specialists’ language skills in communication and journalism for improved competitiveness.
The event was attended by Paul Ianeţ, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports from Moldova, Alexandra Barbăneagră, UPS “Ion Creangă” Deputy rector, representatives of Education Department of Gagauzia, Taraclia and Chisinau, Bureau of Interethnic Relations, Bureau of Migration and Asylum, Bureau for Diaspora Relations, tutors, experts and trainees of ANTEM.
