A certificate of merit was awarded on December 15th, to the director of the National Association of European Trainers of Moldova, during the ceremony dedicated to a jubilee of 25 years since the foundation of the Interethnic Relations Bureau (BRI).
Diploma was awarded for significant contribution to the integration of ethnic minorities, implementation of the program of learning Romanian language by non-native speakers by facilitating inter-ethnic relations through language training to national minorities.
“It’s been already 10 years since, together with IRB, we implement several programs of learning the Romanian language by representatives of ethnic groups in our country. Meanwhile, over 5,000 Romanian civil servants have learned or perfected their language skills, “said Lucia Cucu, ANTEM director, at the ceremony.
Lucia Cucu emphasized in this context the importance of launching a program of distance Romanian learning in 2012, and a program of learning Romanian and Gagauz languages simultaneously in 2015. ANTEM director hopes that programs of simultaneous learning of Romanian language and Bulgarian, Ukrainian and other languages spoken in our country, will be implemented in 2016.
It’s worth mentioning that on December 12th, ANTEM Director has been awarded for promoting the Romanian language, within the ceremony organized on the occasion of a second anniversary of TVR return to Moldova and founding a new local studios for the Romanian Television.
